Boo-hoo Dream

November 23, 2009

I am outrageously tired.

My dear friend Sazzlesticks and I thought it would be a great idea to up-sticks and go live a life of jazz and French cigarettes in a warehouse.  I was lured by the fact that the building is an old fabric wholesaler and look what gems are hidden inbetween the beams!

And there is more.  All over the place.

BUT I haven’t slept in two weeks.

It sounded perfect.  Surrounded by dress-makers, fabric houses and a joinery (well you never know…).  The Manor House warehouse community is lovely, warm, inspiring.  But with the British weather, tin roof and housies smoking crack all night*; not quite the artistic boho abode we’d imagined.

But we’ll get there!  And in between the days and sleepless nights we’ll turn that fabric into some pretty dresses.  And hareem pants.  And…zzzz
